We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team at Sellersville Family Dental in Sellersville, PA. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide excellent patient care and work in a supportive environment where your contributions are valued.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative and general dental procedures.
Perform EFDA duties within the scope of Pennsylvania regulations.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
Assist with restorative procedures, including fillings and other dental treatments.
Place and finish restorative materials as permitted by EFDA certification and state regulations.
Take impressions and/or digital scans as needed.
Assist with crowns, bridges, implants, and other restorative procedures.
Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable and informed.
Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
Follow all infection-control and sterilization procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked operatory.
Communicate effectively with the dentist, hygienists, and front-office team.
Assist with other clinical duties as needed to support the practice.

Qualifications

Licensed/certified EFDA in Pennsylvania.
Experience in general dentistry preferred.
Dependable and punctual.
Friendly, compassionate, and comfortable interacting with patients.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Confident in clinical abilities and takes pride in providing quality dentistry.
Eager to continue learning and growing professionally.
Comfortable working in a busy but supportive private-practice environment.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM - 1:30 PM

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $31 - $35/hr
